Wedding guest : how to find the perfect dress ?

WEDDING THEME  : TO BEND OR NOT TO BEND ?

For the bride and groom, the wedding has to be a memorable day and the details are worked out months in advance. More and more often, a theme is proposed to the guests and is usually based on colors. It is part of good manners that the guests should be able to choose the bride and groom who will appreciate your efforts.

WEDDING GUEST : THINK ABOUT THE PLACE OF RECEPTION !

We rarely think about it, but knowing where the reception will take place helps in the choice of clothes and shoes to wear. For a reception at the beach for example, forget the stilettos, otherwise wear them at the town hall and replace them with flat shoes at the beach (but never go barefoot!).

For a wedding at the waterfront, avoid short cocktail dresses that don't fit! An unfortunate gust of wind could expose certain parts of your body, much more than it should. Same advice if you have to celebrate a wedding on a fly boat for example.

In the choice of your clothes, it is impossible to repeat enough, during a wedding, to avoid wearing a white dress, this one being "reserved" for the bride for the occasion. Many will think that you want to steal the show from the bride!

WEDDING GUEST : THINK ABOUT THE WEATHER FORECAST

If winter is a magical season to get married, remember to bring a warm coat to match your outfit and good shoes with snow and ice! Keep an eye on the weather forecast and remember to bring a nice umbrella in case it rains heavily. On the dress side, we will choose more a long dress to protect our legs from the cold and icy gales.

The good weather being generally at the rendezvous in summer, you will have the embarrassment of the choice for your wedding dress! Opt for beautiful wedding dresses in lightness (tulle, veil...), asymmetrical, long or short. In case of strong heat, bring a packet of handkerchief, a matifying powder, a mister, a good deodorant and a fan.

Whatever the weather, wearing the dress is highly recommended or at least a suit. Finally, pumps will be de rigueur for a chic and elegant look. We will avoid eccentric, too indented or glamourous outfits in favor of simplicity. As for accessories, you can opt for a pretty hat and a complete set to embellish your outfit! To avoid, the veils which are reserved for the bride.

In short, be up to this event while taking care not to steal the show from the future bride and groom! Your watchwords: chic and elegance.
