Plus size evening dress : notion of body types !

You are invited to a party that promises to be wonderful but you are apprehensive about the moment because you don't know which evening dress to wear for the occasion ? Don't panic ! You might as well be chic and elegant with your beautiful curves. To do so, you just have to know your morphology and follow our advice !
MORPHOLOGY IN A
Also called "pear" or "pyramid", if you have a morphology in A it is because your bust is smaller than the bottom. The objective is thus to rebalance the top and the bottom by attracting the glance on the upper part (chest, bottom, shoulders...). Opt here for dresses with a V neckline, strapless or princess dresses, slightly flared at the bottom. Choose dresses with straps or sleeves. Especially avoid dresses with petticoats!
MORPHOLOGY IN O
Also called "apple" morphology (generous chest and thin legs), we recommend here to lengthen your silhouette by playing on the lines with for example: a dress with a V neckline, a strapless dress or a wallet dress to "create" a waist. Be careful, the cut must be straight and avoid fabrics that are too flowing, empire style and tight or stretchy materials that may mark the slightest flaws! Are you short? Prefer short dresses!
V-SHAPED MORPHOLOGY
Like an inverted pyramid (broad shoulders and generous chest), to harmonize your silhouette, forget dresses with shoulder pads and prefer empire or asymmetrical dresses. Unveil your legs which will be here your best assets with a dress up to the knee. One will avoid too vertical décolletés, boat necklines as well as too thin straps.
MORPHOLOGY IN H
Morphology also known as "rectangle", the objective is to mark the waist for a more feminine look. One will opt here for the empire waist dresses in straight cut which will lengthen your silhouette and will also underline your neckline. If you want to wear a belt, with a round belly, wear it underneath. Don't hesitate either to wear curved jackets for example. To avoid: flared dresses.
MORPHOLOGY IN 8
Hourglass silhouette, it has the advantage of presenting a marked waist, and a good balance between upper and lower body. Don't hesitate to underline your pretty waist with a belt, or a wrap around dress (as long as you don't have a belly!). We will prefer straight or trapeze cut dresses with a fitted top to underline the neckline. Draped dresses or bustier are also a good choice.
Do not think any more that dresses are not suitable for round silhouettes! On the contrary, they allow you to enhance your assets. By knowing your morphology well, you will be able to align yourself with the most elegant women with your beautiful generous curves.
